Oil Drips
Woodcut Print
Back in my senior year, as the Yield Media project for my final thesis was taking shape, I stretched the content production beyond my graphic design classes.
I created this 18"x24" woodcut print while studying printmaking with artist Bob Erickson. The oil cronies were in charge and waging war in the Middle East. The public narrative was focused on WMDs, but this concept aimed to connect the dots between the region’s oil and our leader’s interest in it.
